In the picturesque Gosciерadów municipality, Lubelskie Voivodship, the Annopol I wind farm, with a total capacity of 40 MW, is taking shape. This significant project is one of OX2's endeavours in Poland, and it is being financed by PKO Bank Polski.

OX2, an international, independent power producer, is offering end-to-end solutions in onshore and offshore wind, solar PV, and energy storage. Their projects, like the Annopol I wind farm, contribute to building a more sustainable society.

For the legal aspects of the Annopol I project, a multidisciplinary team from global law firm X was involved. The finance workstream was led by Tomasz Rogalski, who was assisted by associate Karolina Lepakiewicz, lawyer Antoni Krzyżanowski, and associate Jakub Wiatrzyk.

The team also included counsel Cezary Zawiślak, who led the legal due diligence workstream, and was supported by associate Martyna Orłowska, lawyers Nina Strzelczyk, and Mikołaj Rydzewski. Counsel Krzysztof Gorzelak and lawyer Antoni Krzyżanowski advised on the hedging aspects of the project.

From Kromann Reumert, partner Kumaran Thavarajah and associate Markus Ulrik Leding provided Danish law advice, while the lawyer advising on Danish legal matters for the Annopol I Onshore Wind Power Plant project in Poland is not publicly disclosed.

The successful completion of the Annopol I wind farm financing demonstrates the effectiveness of close cooperation between the bank, sponsors, and legal advisors in making ambitious renewable energy investments a reality. This financing is an important step in increasing the share of renewable energy in Poland's energy mix.
