On Tuesday, August 28, 2025, a significant traffic disruption occurred on the B3 near the Rödgen interchange in Giessen. The accident, involving a Hyundai and a VW Golf, took place around 07:50 AM.
The collision caused a substantial traffic backup on the B3 coming from Butzbach during rush hour. Both vehicles were rendered undrivable, and the extent of property damage remains unknown.
Fortunately, the drivers involved, a 48-year-old and a 60-year-old resident of Bad Nauheim, sustained only minor injuries. They were promptly taken to the hospital for treatment.
