Consulted on various matters by the Commission:
The Kleine Isar is set to welcome a new bridge, as construction plans are underway. The project, which is expected to be completed within a week, will bring about changes in the area and some disruptions to traffic.
To ensure transparency, the project organisers have pledged to provide timely information regarding the construction before it begins. This includes detailed information about the project's progress, as well as any necessary road closures or partial closures in Innere Regensburger Straße, Johann-Weiß-Weg, or areas of Franz-Högner-Weg.
The construction will necessitate tree removal and pruning in the Kleine Isar area. However, the felling will occur outside the breeding season, starting as early as February, in an effort to minimise impact on local wildlife. It's worth noting that replanting will occur at the same location after the construction project is completed.
In order to maintain safety, increased caution is requested from road users in the work areas. Every effort will be made to minimise disruption to traffic during the construction.
The new bridge construction will be coordinated with the Lower Nature Conservation Authority to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Stay tuned for further updates as the construction project progresses. The project organisers are committed to keeping the public informed every step of the way.
