JCB, the renowned construction equipment manufacturer, has decided to exhibit at the conference due to the party's control over 10 councils after the May local elections. At the conference, JCB will showcase the JCB Pothole Pro, an innovative pothole repair machine.
The Reform party is considered the most business-friendly in the UK by some, and they are attempting to capitalize on business disenchantment with the two main political parties. The conference is offering corporate packages worth up to £250,000, and over 200 corporate tickets have already been sold.
Heathrow Airport has become a title sponsor of the Reform Party Lounge at the 2023 conference. TikTok will also be collaborating with UK Music at the Reform conference for the first time this year.
Craig Beaumont, executive director at the Federation of Small Businesses, will be one of the few senior lobby group execs at the conference. However, the British Retail Consortium has opted to not attend.
The Reform party has not yet announced any business-related policies, despite having announced eye-catching pledges in various areas. Nigel Farage has vowed to include top business leaders in any potential cabinet.
Several newly elected mayors and councillors from the Reform party oversee sectors and regions that affect businesses' interests. The conference is expected to be both intriguing and intimidating for bosses and execs used to attending only two conferences in their busy calendars.
