Rare Magic Memorabilia Sold for Thousands at Potter & Potter Auctions

One of the highlights of the auction was Keira Knightley's gold dress from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, which fetched a price of $18,750. Another standout item was a prop wand from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, which sold for $4,000.

Disney fans were thrilled to see an original production cel from It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown sell for $12,500, and another from Disney's Sleeping Beauty fetch a price of $15,000. The Little Mermaid also had a strong showing, with an original production cel selling for $6,250.

For fans of action-adventure films, a prop sword from Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark sold for $7,500, and a prop gun from The Matrix was snapped up for $5,000. A rare Star Wars action figure set also found a new home for $6,500.

In addition to film memorabilia, the auction included vintage magic posters and props. One such item was an animated display in a wooden cabinet of the Dwarfs' Bath from Snow White, which sold for $6,250. An autographed script from The Lion King also sold for $10,000.

The prices listed include the buyer's premium. Other items that sold for significant sums include an original production cel from Aladdin, which went for $8,750, and a prop costume piece from Star Trek, which sold for $3,750.

Overall, the auction was a success, with bidders competing fiercely for the chance to own a piece of cinematic history. The sale of these rare and valuable items is a testament to the enduring appeal of these beloved films and the passion of their fans.
