Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis Police Department Welcomes 34 New Colleagues
The Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis Police Department in Ennepetal, Germany, welcomed 34 new colleagues on September 1, 2025. The event, themed "All New," marked a significant expansion for the department.
Among the new recruits are 26 newly appointed police commissioners. The Criminal Investigation Division will be reinforced by 11 new members, while the Traffic Division will have two new faces. Additionally, eight colleagues were transferred from other departments to the Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis.
The Hattingen police station will gain seven new faces, and the Ennepetal police station will have 14 new colleagues. Becoming a part of the Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis police family was a focus for the new colleagues, as they embark on their careers in law enforcement.
Landrat Herr Olaf Schade, Police Director Frank Kujau, and other representatives of the department were present to welcome the new recruits.
