Crafting lavish mobile homes with tractors and cat boxes: Tüftler specializes in high-end camper vans
Steven Nolan, a creative thinker from an unknown location, has turned an old Howard brand manure spreader into a luxurious travel trailer. This four-year conversion project was no easy feat, given the limited space and the need for a tractor restoration to tow the trailer.
The converted manure spreader now weighs approximately 3,000 kilograms and boasts double-glazed windows in solid oak frames. Inside, it features a kitchen area and a wood stove that serves not only as a heating source but also as a hot water heater for the fold-down outdoor shower.
The wood stove, a key element of the trailer's luxury, is complemented by other amenities. A canopy made from recycled aluminium scaffolding pipes adorns the trailer, complete with an awning and a hammock. The trailer's unique design is further enhanced by its lack of a specified name or model.
Steven Nolan showcased his unique conversion project on his YouTube channel, demonstrating the potential for creative repurposing of agricultural equipment. The converted manure spreader has proven to be ideal for camping trips, and with its luxury elements, it could potentially be used for glamping as well.
The total cost of the conversion was around 11,500 euros, making it a significant investment but one that has resulted in a unique and functional travel trailer. With his tractor now a permanent companion, Steven Nolan can take his home on the road for his camping adventures. This is indeed an example of the innovative spirit that can transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.
