In the picturesque stanitsa of Nebezhaiskaya, Crimea, the annual Lipkin Memorials took place, marking a solemn tradition that pays tribute to the Kuban Cossacks who fell in a significant battle during the Caucasian War.

The event was graced by the presence of notable figures such as Vice-Governor, Military Ataman Alexander Vlasov, Head of Crimea Sergey Les, and other dignitaries. The Kuban Cossack Host also participated, marching with pride to the rhythm of the Russian and Kuban anthems.

The Lipkin Memorials, held in the Krasnodar Krai region, began with a memorial service, followed by a poignant moment of silence and the laying of flowers to honour the fallen heroes.

Alexander Vlasov, in his remarks, underlined the enduring moral foundations of the Kuban Cossacks, rooted in loyalty to their Motherland, service to faith, and truth. He highlighted the examples of courage, honour, and valor displayed by the Kuban Cossacks as inspiring for the youth.

The press service of Krasnodar Krai Administration reported on the event, detailing the participation of local government officials, military veterans, cultural leaders, and descendants of the Cossacks in the commemorative events.

The Lipki River, a location where a significant battle occurred during the Caucasian War, serves as a poignant reminder of the bravery and sacrifice of the Kuban Cossacks. The Caucasian War, a historical conflict in which the Kuban Cossacks were involved, has left a lasting legacy of heroism and resilience.
