Customs check in Nonnenweier reveals 52-year-old with contraband goods

During the inspection, a vehicle with a French registration was found to be carrying a knuckleduster, an electroshock device, a switchblade, unmarked pepper spray, two batons, and a pocketknife. The driver, who was also the vehicle's occupant, was found to be carrying a pocketknife in his breast pocket.
The individual now faces a potential charge of violating weapons laws. The driver's identity was not disclosed, but it was confirmed that they are a 52-year-old French national.
In a separate incident on the same day, the German Federal Police controlled two individuals: a 26-year-old Dane and a 28-year-old German. The German was found to be in possession of a one-handed knife, leading to a charge of a weapons offense. Both individuals were also found with drugs, and the case involves violations of narcotics and weapons laws.
