Customs Office in Itzehoe initiates training for 22 novice trainees
The Federal Financial Administration's Education and Science Center has completed the theoretical parts of the middle service at its training centers. This marks the start of an exciting new chapter for CUSTOMS, as they launch a 3-year dual study program in administrative informatics, leading to a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree.
For those aiming for a higher service, CUSTOMS offers a similar 3-year course of study that culminates in a "Bachelor of Laws" (LL.B.) degree. Interested parties can apply for an entry date of September 1, 2026, for both higher and middle CUSTOMS service at the Main Customs Office Itzehoe.
The Main Customs Office Itzehoe will welcome 22 new trainees on September 1, 2025, and they will spend their practical phases in various areas of the training main customs office, nearby customs offices, customs investigation offices, and suitable areas of the General Customs Directorate.

The training in the middle service lasts two years and qualifies for the professional title of "financial administrator".
