Cyclist discovered alongside road with injuries
On Saturday evening, a cyclist from Dürscheven was seriously injured in an accident on the Bleistraße. The incident occurred near an intersection at around 19:00.
A woman from Enzen, driving along the same road, happened upon the scene and found the cyclist unresponsive and bleeding heavily from a head wound. The cyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The cyclist was discovered lying on the street, and it appears that no other vehicles were involved in the incident. The cyclist was riding a pedelec at the time.
Upon finding the cyclist, the woman immediately notified the police and emergency services. The cyclist was transported to a hospital by helicopter, due to the severity of the injuries.
