Over the weekend, the wedding of Anastasia and Sergiu Maruster, two familiar faces from the popular German dance show "Let's Dance," took place. The grand event was a celebration surrounded by family and friends, as well as several notable figures from the world of dance.
The couple, both in their mid-twenties and thirties, decided to tie the knot a year after their civil ceremony. Anastasia, who first appeared on "Let's Dance" in 2024, wore a stunning white, floor-length wedding dress with a corset top, high leg slit, transparent lace gloves, and a veil. Sergiu, on the other hand, opted for a classic black suit for the ceremony, later changing into a white jacket for the dancing festivities.
The "Let's Dance" family was well-represented at the wedding. Former contestant Fabian Hambüchen (37) was among the guests, as were professional dancers Patricija Ionel (30), Regina Luca (36), and Otlile Mabuse (35). The current season's dance partner of Sergiu, Leyla Heiter, performed a surprise dance at the wedding, and even Mike Heiter, Leyla's husband, made an appearance a week after their own wedding.
Comedian Tony Bauer (29), who finished seventh with Anastasia in 2024, also attended the wedding. Another interesting presence was Zsolt Sándor Cseke, a professional dancer who recently got engaged to his girlfriend Anna-Lena, as revealed in his secret engagement announced on Instagram in September 2025.
The wedding was a fitting occasion for the "Let's Dance" community to come together and celebrate the union of two of their own. The professional dancers shared photos and videos of the wedding on Instagram, providing a glimpse into the joyous event for those who could not attend.
