AS Roma Eyeing Summer Transfer of Dario Cvitanich from Nice
Italian football club AS Roma is reportedly planning to make a move for Argentine forward Dario Cvitanich, currently playing for Nice, in the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport," AS Roma is considering a bid for the 35-year-old striker, who is set to battle Mattia Destro for a starting berth if signed. The report is also corroborated by Tuttosport, another Italian sports newspaper.
The Giallorossi have been monitoring Cvitanich for some time, and it seems they have finally decided to make a move. If the transfer materializes, Cvitanich's position would be forward.
AS Roma has already been active in the summer transfer market, recruiting players such as Seydou Keita, Ashley Cole, Salih Ucan, Urby Emanuelson, and Juan Manuel Iturbe. The club has also secured the services of Mehdi Benatia for the upcoming season, as he has agreed to stay at Stadio Olimpico.
However, the potential transfer of Cvitanich is not yet confirmed, and AS Roma is still attempting to sign Marko Basa from Lille. The recruitment of the club is not over yet in the summer transfer window.
