PartyPoker Tour's London edition is in full swing at Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City on Easter Sunday! The excitement was palpable with plenty of poker action from tournament and cash games throughout the day and night.

The £200 poker.pro PLO tournament was a massive success, featuring bounties for both poker.pro CEO, Jason Glatzer, and charismatic host, Glenn Brown. Our very own writer somehow bubbled the event, earning a little prize before Paresh Doshi took the trophy and the £2,220 top prize.

Meanwhile, the £150 Mini Main Event saw over 300 entries on the second day and Sukhdev Singh was the chip leader after catapulting his initial stack into a massive chip pile. Day 1b had fewer entrants due to Easter, but still managed to attract 125 players. The top five survivors were Singh, Robert Ayton, Kaloyan Stefanov, V T, and Amr Moustafa.

From Bounties to Trophies: Paresh Doshi Wins £200 poker.pro PLO (£2,220)

Paresh Doshi's dominant performance led him to victory in the live-reported £200 poker.pro PLO event, taking home the top prize of £2,220. He bested the 34-player field and eliminated both Glenn Brown and Jason Glatzer en route to the win. Doshi's chip lead was unbeatable on the final table.

Highlights from the £200 poker.pro PLO

Before the tournament began, Jason Glatzer announced that both he and Glenn Brown would have a bounty on their first bullet. The prize was a poker.pro themed basket containing an exclusive hat, t-shirt, and water bottle for the headhunters. The action commenced, and Glatzer quickly suffered his first blow from Dimitrov. Boyuan Xue led the chip count at the break with 47,000, closely followed by JJ Hazan with 40,500.

Hazan: The Tournament's Head Hunter

JJ Hazan found his stride, eliminating player after player. He flopped top set against two opponents, then made top full house to add to his chip lead. Glenn Brown was quick to hit the rail with a fate sealed by Doshi's flopped set. Doshi admitted he made a loose call hoping to spin it up or rebuy before the registration closed. Hazan held an overwhelming chip lead as of the first break, with 162,000. Ri-Karlo Handy (57,700) and Craig Timmis (53,000) rounded out the top three. Registration closed as the trivia contest began in the nearby bar. Team poker.pro placed third, Two places paid, and Hazan claimed another elimination before play resumed.

Wichman made a name for himself, adding to his stack (86,500), while Glatzer and Hazan played together in a game of friend-versus-foe. They found a few pots together, with Glatzer taking the early advantage after a successful double-up. Wichman continued his hot streak by turning trips to send his opponent to the rail. He now sat as the de facto chip leader with 209,100.

Final Table Looms as the Tournament Crescendos

With only nine players left, Wichman held the top spot with 187,500 in play. Mohamed Abu-Hassan, Doshi, and Glatzer trailed closely behind with approximately 130,000 each. Wichman kept up the pressure, taking down a massive pot to sit comfortably at 359,000. A final table was set with seven players remaining, and the remaining players clung on for dear life. A three-way all-in occurred between Gang Wang, Hazan, and Wichman. The stacks flipped as both Wang and Hazan survived, narrowing the gap between them and their competitors. The stone bubble was poised to burst, with only one player's elimination securing a minimum payout of £840 for the remaining players. Glatzer missed out but found another all-in opportunity, but he wasn't as fortunate the second time around, as Doshi bagged both bounties and sent the remaining players into the money. Hazan's mid-run hand couldn't outshine Doshi's aces, and he was eliminated shortly after with Doshi sitting on nearly 2/3 of the chips in play. He applied maximum pressure and ensured the tournament wouldn't last much longer.

Next on the chopping block was Wichman, who flopped a combo draw but couldn't outrun Doshi's nut flush draw. Both players made their flush on the river, ending Wichman's run in the bronze medal position. Gang Wang was all-in on the turn with an open shove, facing off against Doshi.

Gang Wang: 9♥8♦5♣4♣Paresh Doshi: A♣Q♦8♥5♦

The river ran out 7♥, sending Wang home with the silver medal and Doshi basking in his well-deserved victory. Doshi was thrilled with his win and praised the PartyPoker trophy as a "good addition to his collection."
