2025 SKAM Summer Music Summit Delivers Impressive Sound Experience with dBTechnologies
The 2025 SKAM Summer Music Summit, held in Los Angeles, CA, from August, was a resounding success, thanks in part to the impressive sound solutions provided by dBTechnologies.
Organised by Sujit Kundu, CEO of SKAM Artist and Skam Division, the event featured international DJs, influencers, and guests, who were treated to an exceptional audio experience.
The sound production and deployment for the summit were managed by High Voltage, an AV company based in Los Angeles. Darrin "B-Side" Young, director of Sales for dBTechnologies U.S. and a respected DJ, provided on-site support.
In the Jack Daniels Karaoke lounge, the Reevo 210 and a DVA MS12 subwoofer worked together to create a balance between vocal presence and musical depth, catering to the intimate setting. The system demonstrated its ability to handle loud environments, achieving high SPL (sound pressure level), without causing noise complaints from neighbouring establishments.
Meanwhile, the Twitch Live Stream room used the ES 1203 system for sound production. This system translated sound naturally for both in-person audiences and the online live broadcast. Marco Rodriguez, sales engineer at dBTechnologies, provided system design support for the summit.
At the poolside stage, dBTechnologies' Ingenia IG1T column speakers and SUB 915 subwoofers ensured that DJs could hear their work clearly in a high-energy, outdoor environment.
Dan Villagomez of High Voltage commented that the Reevo 210 system was quite impressive for its loud and clean sound, despite its compact size. The Jack Daniels Karaoke lounge and the Twitch Live Stream room at the summit both received sound solutions from dBTechnologies, although different systems were used in each room. The company provided targeted sound solutions for the summit, demonstrating their commitment to delivering the best possible audio experience.
