Deadly Vehicle Collision on Roadway
In a tragic incident on September 18, at 11:55 AM, a three-vehicle accident occurred on State Road 382 between Korschenbroich and Herrenshoff.
The accident involved an 82-year-old woman who was driving one of the vehicles. Despite immediate resuscitation efforts, she unfortunately passed away at the scene.
The central traffic accident recording team of the police in Rhein-Kreis Neuss was called to support the evidence collection. A towing service was also summoned to remove the damaged vehicles from the site.
The area was closed off for the duration of the investigation, which is being led by the local police department or traffic authority responsible for that area, typically the Korschenbroich police. The further investigation will be handled by the competent traffic commission.
It is reported that the woman veered into oncoming traffic, causing the accident. The exact circumstances leading up to the incident are currently under investigation.
