Debut of AtherStack 7: Introducing Improved Functionality with Additions such as Cruise Control and More

In the world of electric scooters, Ather Energy continues to push the boundaries with its latest updates. The company recently unveiled a host of new features designed to enhance safety, convenience, and performance.

One of the most notable additions is Infinite Cruise, a combination of Cruise Control, Hill Control, and Crawl Control. This innovative feature allows the scooter to maintain a set speed until the rider intervenes, offering a seamless riding experience, especially in city conditions where constant braking and throttle adjustments are common. Infinite Cruise is backwards compatible with 450 Apex scooters produced in 2025 and will also be available on the 450 Apex model.

Safety has always been a priority for Ather Energy, and the latest updates reflect this commitment. In case of a rider falling unconscious, emergency contact numbers are displayed on the dashboard for passersby. Moreover, AtherStack 7 includes Crash Alerts, which notify emergency contacts with live location details, and the new ParkSafe feature notifies riders if they are parking in high-risk tow zones.

To further enhance security, Ather has introduced LockSafe, a feature that alerts owners if their vehicle is tampered with, and owners can immobilize their scooter remotely through the Ather mobile app in case of theft.

Ather Energy is also focusing on making its scooters more eco-friendly. The Rizta Z model now features a refreshed UI, a new Eco Mode, and a new Terracotta Red dual-tone color scheme. Additionally, the latest software update introduces natural voice commands, making the scooters even more user-friendly.

The Rizta Z model also gains a touchscreen interface, which will be enabled through an OTA update for existing owners. Furthermore, Ather is rolling out Proactive Alerts for real-time notifications of potential hazards and system warnings, and Pothole Alerts notify riders of upcoming potholes through dashboard and voice prompts.

These updates are a testament to Ather Energy's commitment to innovation and safety. The company debuted these new concepts at Community Day 2025, as mentioned in another article. However, the author of an article about these updates, published on April 25, 2023, remains unknown.

In conclusion, Ather Energy's latest updates offer a significant leap in safety, convenience, and performance, making electric scooters an even more attractive option for urban commuters.
