The Detmold City is gearing up for the second annual Backpack Exchange for primary school children, scheduled to take place on May 3rd. This event, a collaborative initiative by the Family Information Center (F.I.T) of the city portal and the association Lipper for Lipper e.V., aims to provide essential school supplies to children in need.
The event will unfold at the Detmold City Hall from 10 am to 3 pm. Over 220 backpacks have been collected for the occasion, thanks to the support of various organisations and the sewing project "to and fro" of AGH Hohenloh, which prepared the backpacks and the necessary accessories.

The full range of backpacks will be available at 10 am on May 3rd. In addition to primary school backpacks, the exchange will also offer school bags for older children moving on to secondary school.
