Demands for openness and judicial action in the confiscation of diesel fuel by PAN

The Federal PAN Deputy, Federico Döring Casar, has raised concerns about the ongoing operations against fuel theft and tax fraud in Mexico. Döring criticized the lack of arrests and sanctions despite several seizures of fuel tanker trucks.

In a recent statement, Döring pointed out that coordination between authorities should not be limited to fuel seizures but should generate results that translate into arrests and sanctions. He highlighted the cases of 129 tanker trucks seized in Saltillo and what happened in Ensenada on the former Morena senator's plot. However, no one is in jail for these incidents.

Döring also noted the lack of arrests in states governed by Morena, such as Tamaulipas, Sinaloa, Sonora, and Baja California, despite fuel seizures. In contrast, he mentioned that in entities like Zacatecas and Aguascalientes, where Morena does not govern, arrests of organized crime members have been registered.

The legislator emphasized the importance of security statistics being reliable and transparent. He insisted that citizens should be able to review the data collection methodology. Döring also stressed the need for effective judicial follow-up in these operations. He mentioned specific seizures of 20 million liters of diesel in Saltillo and 8 million liters in Ensenada, but no judicial processes have been initiated.

Moreover, Döring criticized the lack of freezing accounts of the companies involved in the Saltillo and Ensenada seizures. He also highlighted the need for consistency between the national system and the secretariat's records.

In a broader context, Döring recognized some advances in operations against organized crime but emphasized the lack of arrests. He did not discuss topics unrelated to the subject at hand, such as the registration calendar for the Rita Cetina Scholarship in 2025, the best way to eliminate bad breath or halitosis, or the benefits of applying egg white to the face and how to prepare a cucumber protein juice to gain muscle mass.

The article does not provide specific names of officials involved in operations against fuel theft and tax fraud who have not yet been arrested. However, Döring's statements serve as a call for increased accountability and transparency in these operations.
