In a workshop near Coventry, England, the renowned company Building the Legend has collaborated with a client to create a stunning custom Porsche wide-body car. The project began on July 10, 2025, with the initial contact made between Building the Legend's CEO, Neville Swales, and the client.

The initial stages of the custom car creation process involved spending four days on blocking and modeling. The first 3D draft was created using Autodesk Maya, and the company focused on balancing form and topology without focusing on details at this stage.

As the project progressed, the client requested several modifications. The size of the badge was increased by 150%, and the client wanted more curves in the car's main shape. The client also provided additional references to clarify their vision.

The final colours for the car were agreed upon: black, Ferrari red, and California sage green. Black mesh was decided for the "mouth" of the car and air intakes on the sides. Three models in different colours were presented to the client, with red being the final choice. The headlights were settled on a single-bulb type.

The project underwent several changes, including modifications to the spoiler, bottom air intakes, and the addition of a front air spoiler suggestion. The client also requested refinements to the shape of the rear lights, adding proximity sensors, and modifying the camera on the roof.

Applied feedback and continued detailing the shape of the car. Detailing the body, wheels, tires, and windows followed. The background for the final renders was chosen as a minimalist studio backdrop in a dark palette.

The client was pleased with the final product and provided positive feedback. The custom Porsche wide-body car, now boasting dimensions of 4.80 meters in length, 2 meters in width, and 1.2 meters in height, was completed and delivered. However, additional changes were made to create a longer version of the car.

Building the Legend is known for its impressive replica of the Jaguar XJ13 powered by the Tera V12 engine. This latest project further showcases their expertise in creating custom cars that meet the client's unique vision.
