Epstein associate Maxwell tells the Department of Justice that Trump did not behave inappropriately in her presence.

Despite allegations, Maxwell, an associate of Epstein, claims to the Department of Justice that she never witnessed Trump behaving in an inappropriate manner.

In a recent development, the Justice Department has announced that they have completed a thorough review of evidence related to the late Jeffrey Epstein's case and determined that no further disclosure would be appropriate or warranted.

The focus of interest has been on Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's former girlfriend, who is currently serving a 20-year sentence. Maxwell was recently interviewed by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche for two days at a Florida courthouse. During the interviews, Maxwell sought to distance herself from Epstein's conduct and denied allegations about her role.

Maxwell recalled knowing about Donald Trump and possibly meeting him for the first time in 1990. She repeatedly showered Trump with praise during the interviews and denied under questioning that she had observed Trump engaged in any form of sexual behavior. Maxwell hasn't seen Trump since the mid-2000s.

Regarding former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Maxwell claimed that he was her friend, not Epstein's, and she never witnessed him receiving a massage. Maxwell also stated that she and Clinton only traveled together on Epstein's plane.

The Justice Department has been actively cooperating with the House Oversight Committee, sending records from the Epstein investigation for review. However, they have stated that no additional documents from the Epstein investigation were suitable for release.

Epstein was arrested in 2019 on sex-trafficking charges and was found dead in a New York jail cell. The FBI and Justice Department announced that Epstein's death was a suicide, causing outrage from conspiracy theorists. Maxwell's trial featured sordid accounts of the sexual exploitation of girls as young as 14.

Maxwell spoke positively about Britain's Prince Andrew and dismissed Virginia Giuffre's claims about Andrew and her relationship with him. Maxwell was given limited immunity, allowing her to speak freely without fear of prosecution for anything she said except for in the event of a false statement.

The Justice Department has responded to a subpoena from House lawmakers by pledging to turn over information. The details of this information have yet to be disclosed. The investigation into Epstein's case and Maxwell's involvement continues to be a subject of interest and public scrutiny.
