Dietzenbach's historic town center prepares for the festive Christmas market, ushering in the spirit of Advent.

The charming town of Dietzenbach is gearing up for an enchanting Christmas market this year, with a host of activities and attractions for all ages.

Starting from the first weekend of Advent, visitors can immerse themselves in the holiday spirit by exploring a variety of handmade products. From knitwear and jewelry to unique Christmas decorations, there's something for everyone. Local artisans and clubs have been given reduced stall fees, thanks to a decision approved by the city council in September, which has contributed to the expansion of the market.

The market square and Bahnhofstraße will be transformed into a winter wonderland, hosting around 50 stalls. The expanded market promises a delightful shopping experience, accompanied by a festive atmosphere.

Local artists will provide musical entertainment throughout the market. The Evangelical Martin-Luther Church brass band, the Montessori School flute group, the Dietzenbach Music Association, and musician Tom Jet are just a few of the performers set to delight visitors with their talents. Tom Jet, in particular, will create a memorable experience with his "RudelSingSang" performance.

For those seeking a more literary experience, "Books with Frau Schmitt" will offer a special action on Saturday. Visitors can have a poem by Joachim Ringelnatz recited to them as part of the "Ringelnatz to go" event.

Santa Claus will also make an appearance, bringing small surprises for the children. There will be a dedicated children's tent with craft and play activities on both Saturday and Sunday.

The market will be open from 2 pm to 10 pm on Saturday and from 12 pm to 8 pm on Sunday. The official opening ceremony will take place on Saturday at 5 pm on Platz Am Stadtbrunnen, presided over by Mayor Dr. Dieter Lang.

Additionally, over 500 vouchers have been distributed for needy citizens to enjoy food and drinks at the Christmas market free of charge. Culinary delights include mulled wine, waffles, roasted sausages, wild specialties, and potato pancakes.

It's worth noting that Idstein is lending Christmas market huts to Dietzenbach to meet the increased demand. However, there are no search results indicating which cities have teamed up to support the infrastructure of the Christmas market huts in Dietzenbach.

So, mark your calendars and join the festivities in Dietzenbach this holiday season!
