VitalSource Re-selected for Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC) Framework Agreement

VitalSource, a leading education technology solutions provider, has been re-selected and included once again in the SUPC Framework Agreement. This prestigious recognition reaffirms VitalSource's commitment to innovation, collaboration, and responsible procurement in digital education.

The SUPC, representing procurement consortia on behalf of higher education libraries across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, praised VitalSource for its strong performance in various areas. The company earned the highest overall score for Framework Management, reflecting its technical excellence in digital education.

VitalSource's re-selection was also based on its clear and quality onboarding, account management, and support services. The evaluation commended the company's commitment to fostering responsible and cost-effective digital transformation.

The e-reader solution, Bookshelf, received high marks in the technical assessment. Bookshelf was praised for enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes, reinforcing VitalSource's leadership in delivering accessible, device-agnostic digital content platforms.

VitalSource's value proposition was recognized for delivering flexible licensing options and pricing transparency. This commitment to affordability is crucial in providing more than 28 million learning materials globally each year.

Alice Duijser, Managing Director, International at VitalSource, expressed her pleasure about being selected for the SUPC Framework. She stated, "We are thrilled to continue supporting UK higher education institutions with accessible, affordable, and high-quality digital learning experiences."

In addition to the SUPC recognition, VitalSource has also been awarded the 2024 CODiE award for Most Innovative Ed Tech company.
