Discourse among the Council of City Elders in Marl, convened at their table
The city of Marl is inviting its residents, particularly the senior community, to participate in its monthly Table Talks event on September 1, 2025. Held in the forecourt of Marler Stern's prayer room, these open, critical, and community-focused discussions provide an excellent opportunity for Marl residents to engage in conversation with two members of the city's Senior Council.
The Table Talks, a monthly occurrence in Marl since May 2022, take place between 11 am and 1 pm on the first Monday of every month. This upcoming session will be no exception, offering residents the chance to discuss a range of topics related to aging. Concerns, worries, or ideas about the lives of older people in Marl are more than welcome.
In addition to the engaging discussions, the city will be distributing free Emergency Cards at the event. These cards are designed to help seniors prepare for emergencies by providing essential personal information that can be quickly accessed by emergency responders or first aiders in the event of an emergency.
The Senior Council encourages all Marl residents to drop by and take advantage of this valuable conversation opportunity. For more information, or to learn about future Table Talks events, keep an eye on local news and community announcements.
