Discovered Arms on Anderter Straße, Misburg-Süd, by FW Hannover
On Wednesday, August 18, 2025, residents of Hannover are asked to heed an urgent evacuation notice due to the discovery of a World War II munition. The munition was found during exploratory work in the Anderter Straße area, specifically on a property in Hannover Misburg-Süd.
The evacuation of approximately 3,350 citizens will commence from 4:30 PM onwards. Buses will be provided free of charge for transportation to a care center set up at the Pestalozzi School sports hall.
