Discussion of an early intervention meeting arranged by KoKi in Kumhausen
On May 8, 2025, a roundtable discussion titled "Round Table Early Help" took place in Kumhausen, Landshut district. The event, coordinated by the Coordinated Child Protection Center "KoKi" in the district, gathered various professionals from the "Early Help" sector.
The discussion focused on support offerings for expectant parents and families with children aged 0-3. Stefan Ehrlich, from the Landshut health department, presented the state-recognized counseling centre for pregnancy issues. Mrs. Reber showcased the mother care offer, while Franziska Rauschecker highlighted the range of offers from the family care service Mühldorf-Altötting.
The event provided opportunities for the participants to exchange ideas about common challenges, reflect on their own practices, and share examples from their work. Professionals such as social pedagogues, educators, family and children's nurses, psychologists, and therapists attended the discussion.
The needs and wishes of (expectant) parents and their children were at the heart of the discussion. The pregnancy counseling center offered advice on financial support for children and families and how to apply for it.
The "Round Table Early Help" serves as a platform for joint exchange and further develops opportunities for cooperation. For more information about the event or future meetings, please contact KoKi from the Landshut district at 0871408 4970/-4971/-4972 or [email protected].

However, it is clear that the event will continue to be a valuable resource for those working in the Early Childhood sector, striving to provide the best possible support for families in the Landshut district.
