Chemnitz Residents Invited to Public Office Hours with City Leaders
Residents of Chemnitz have the opportunity to meet with their city leaders for public office hours from September to October. During these sessions, Mayor Sven Schulze, Mayor Knut Kunze, Mayoress Dagmar Ruscheinsky, and Mayor Thomas Kütter will be available to discuss various topics and receive constructive suggestions.
Mayor Sven Schulze is particularly interested in ideas, improvements, and wishes from Chemnitz residents, including children and young people, for child and youth-friendly urban development. His public office hours are scheduled for Thursday, 4th September, from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Mayor Thomas Kütter is the contact person for urban development and construction and oversees several departments, including Building Management and Architecture, Urban Planning and Real Estate Office, Building Ordinance and Surveying Office, Traffic and Civil Engineering Office, and Parks Office. He will be available for public office hours on Wednesday, 8th October, from 3 pm to 5 pm.
Mayoress Dagmar Ruscheinsky is open to ideas, suggestions, or problems regarding social affairs, youth, health, culture, and sport. She oversees the Cultural Department, the Chemnitz Art Collections, the Social Office, the Youth Office, the Sports Office, and the Health and Prevention Office. Her public office hours are scheduled for Monday, 15th September, from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Mayor Knut Kunze is responsible for law, safety, and environmental protection and can provide assistance in the Legal Office, the Ordnance Office, the Citizens' Office, the Environmental Office, the Fire Department, the Food Control and Veterinary Office, and the Zoo. His public office hours are scheduled for Thursday, 25th September, from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
