In a reckless incident, a Touareg driver inflicted over €260,000 worth of damage due to heavy alcohol and drug use.

Disordered behavior involving alcohol, narcotics, and destructive actions results in over €260,000 worth of property damage, orchestrated by a Touareg driver.

In Offenbach, a 23-year-old man was arrested following a series of traffic incidents that resulted in property damage worth over 260,000 euros and the injury of a 43-year-old man.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Bleichstraße/Mittelseestraße, where the man, driving a blue VW Touareg, collided with a parked black BMW and a pickup truck. The man's dangerous maneuver continued, endangering other road users, and ended in Bismarckstraße, where he lost control of his vehicle.

The impact of the collision pushed the pickup truck against two motorhomes and another BMW. The 43-year-old man in the pickup truck suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. Several cars had to be towed away.

The man fled on foot after the collision but was arrested shortly after. Upon investigation, it was found that he had over 1.2 per thousand alcohol in his blood, cocaine, and an illegal knife were found in his car. He did not have a valid driver's license or a legitimate TÜV sticker, and he was also found to be in possession of a foreign driver's license that was not legitimate.

The police are investigating the incident as a hit-and-run, as well as potential violations of traffic, weapons, and forgery laws, and the man's lack of a valid driver's license and legitimate TÜV sticker. Witnesses who observed the incident or can provide information about the man's driving behavior are encouraged to come forward.

The man is currently facing an extensive criminal investigation. The hit-and-run investigators can be reached at 069 8098-5699. The police are seeking more information to shed light on this incident and ensure justice is served.
