Dispute among youth results in a 17-year-old sustaining injuries in Bottrop, as reported by Polish police.

In an incident that took place on Wednesday evening in the area of Horster Straße/Berliner Platz, Recklinghausen, a dispute among teenagers resulted in physical altercations and kicking, with one individual having a knife.

Two suspects, a 15-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, both from Bottrop, were taken to the police station. One of the individuals involved had a knife. A 17-year-old from Bottrop was injured and taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The girl was held overnight in police custody due to an outstanding arrest warrant, while the boy was released to his parents later that evening. Investigations continue, including into other potential suspects, with the charge being suspected dangerous bodily harm.

The head of the Recklinghausen police station, who organized the large police presence related to the incident, is Police President Friederike Zurhausen.
