District's Dust Issue Addresses by Mayor's Office in 17th District
In the chilly city of Yakutsk, the city administration has announced a major renovation project for its residential districts, with an estimated duration of approximately 10 years. This extensive overhaul is set to transform the city's landscape, but it has also sparked concerns among residents due to the current dust situation in the Construction District.
The Municipal Control Center (MCC) of Yakutsk has suggested a strategic approach for the construction of the district, emphasising the importance of completing it first. This comprehensive plan takes into account the organisation of all entrances, the passage of public transport, traffic flow calculations, and the organisation of road traffic.
However, the MCC has also noted that building roads during the early stages of construction is not practical, as they become unusable and utility lines need to be laid. In the meantime, watering of unpaved roads in the Construction District is reportedly provided 15 times a month before the commencement of design and capital repair, within the allocated limits.
Recent videos published by "Yakutia.Info" have shown smoke clouds in the 17th quarter and neighbouring territories, adding to the residents' worries. The residents have expressed their frustration, asking, "How much longer can we endure this?" in reference to the ongoing dust issue.
City authorities in Yakutsk are actively addressing these concerns, responding to residents' complaints about the dust in the Construction District. The Municipal Control Center of the City Hall has also acknowledged these signals and is working to address the issues raised by the residents.
As the renovation project progresses, the city authorities are encouraged to continue their efforts to keep the residents informed and to manage the dust situation effectively, ensuring the safety and comfort of the city's inhabitants throughout the transformation of Yakutsk's residential districts.
