"Djokovic dismantles Struff's game": No hope for Struff against Djokovic
Jan-Lennard Struff, a popular figure among tennis fans, has been making waves in the ongoing US Open. The qualifier started strong, pulling off an upset in the opening rounds and advancing to the round of 16.
However, not all German players have had the same success. Alexander Zverev, the country's top-ranked player, was eliminated in the third round. Philipp Kohlschreiber, on the other hand, continues his journey in the tournament, having advanced to the second round.
Struff's impressive performance began with a victory over Kohlschreiber in the first round. He then eliminated Laura Siegemund and Tatjana Maria in the early stages of the tournament. His recent victory came after a tough battle, advancing despite Daniel Altmaier's promising start before the latter had to retire.
Altmaier, who showed great potential in his third-round match, was unable to continue, leaving Struff to face Novak Djokovic in the round of 16. The Serbian tennis star is the favourite to win the match, but Struff's strong performances so far have given fans a reason to hope.
Meanwhile, Siegemund and Maria were both eliminated in the first round, with Siegemund suffering a heavy defeat.
As the US Open continues, all eyes will be on Struff as he faces Djokovic. The title remains unfulfilled for Zverev, but Struff's journey in the tournament has been a highlight for German tennis fans.
