Documentary on Giorgio Armani by Scorsese Recalled

Scorsese guides the audience through Armani's lavish house, providing a glimpse into the designer's personal life. One of the most memorable scenes is when the camera pans around to reveal Scorsese wearing full Armani, a testament to the designer's impeccable style.

Interestingly, Made in Milan was Scorsese's first documentary and short film in 12 years. It was also a precursor to their subsequent collaboration on the iconic film Casino, where Robert De Niro, Giorgio Armani, and Martin Scorsese appeared together.
In Casino, De Niro's character is known for his impeccable tailoring and flashy suits, which were designed by Armani. This collaboration solidified their partnership, leading to their recent project, the Armani-Kith collaboration in 2024.
Sadly, Giorgio Armani passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones at the age of 91. The Armani Group announced his death in a statement, leaving a void in the fashion industry that will be hard to fill.
