Downtown Plaza to welcome a brand-new slot lounge in Las Vegas
The Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas is set to unveil a new slot lounge called "Buffalo and Mo' Friends" on September 4. This expansion, led by casino company Buffalo, is the first of its kind in the downtown area and is part of a larger trend of casino growth in the city.
The themed area, located between the casino cage and the Plaza Rewards Players Club, will feature 63 titles from Aristocrat Gaming. Among the games, visitors can expect to find popular franchises such as Buffalo and Mo' Mummy.
Buffalo-branded swag and prize opportunities will be available for Plaza Rewards members until October 4. The launch of the slot area will also offer special promotions for these members.
Tamares Group, a private international investment group, was previously the owner of the Plaza Hotel & Casino before selling the property. It is unclear if Tamares Group is involved in the current expansion, but the company has been known to be active in the Las Vegas casino scene.
Reports on the expansion are being covered by David Danzis of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The expansion is bringing changes to the downtown area, with the addition of Mo' Mummy, a new casino game, being a significant part of these changes.
The commercial casinos in Las Vegas are undergoing changes with this expansion. However, no new information about the specific changes or the extent of the expansion was provided.
Visitors to the Plaza Hotel & Casino can look forward to experiencing the new Buffalo and Mo' Friends slot lounge starting September 4. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 11 a.m. on that day.
