Driver of an auto-rickshaw apprehended for sexual assault against a nursery school pupil in Madhya Pradesh
In the Satna district of Madhya Pradesh, a 21-year-old man named Rajkumar Dahiya has been accused of raping a four-year-old student of a private nursery school. The shocking incident was reported by the Civil Lines police station in-charge, Yogendra Singh Parihar, to PTI on Saturday.
The incident is said to have occurred when Rajkumar Dahiya, who was transporting the child in an auto-rickshaw, allegedly assaulted the girl after dropping off other students and finding her alone. The child, who was a regular passenger in the auto-rickshaw, returned home scared and later fell ill, leading her family to question her.
On the day of the incident, the regular driver was unwell and sent Rajkumar Dahiya to transport the children. It was only after the child narrated the incident that the family lodged a complaint on Tuesday. The accused has since been arrested.
The Civil Lines police station, under the leadership of Yogendra Singh Parihar, is investigating the case further. The details are still emerging, and the community is left in shock over the horrific allegations. The safety and well-being of children are of utmost importance, and this incident serves as a stark reminder of the need for vigilance and action against such crimes.
