Drone Strike in Belgorod Leaves Three Dead, According to Moscow's Report

In a joint press conference with Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico in the Ukrainian city of Uzhhorod, located on the border with Slovakia, President Volodymyr Zelensky reported over 2200 Russian attacks since the beginning of September.

The attacks, which have targeted civilian infrastructure and various locations near the Ukrainian border, have resulted in several casualties. According to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, attacks were reported at four different locations, leading to three deaths near the border of Belgorod, Russia. Two more people were also injured in these attacks.

The drivers of a bus and a small truck, as well as another man, were among the victims. The victims and damage from the retaliatory strikes are insignificant compared to the devastating consequences of Russia's war of aggression on the Ukrainian side.

Zelensky urged European countries to completely stop importing Russian energy, stating that Russian oil and gas have no future. He also called for increased arms deliveries to Ukraine to strengthen its defense strategy, which involves counterattacks on the aggressor's mainland.

Germany and France have jointly called for stronger sanctions against Russia, but there is no indication that either proposed a German peace force to prevent future invasions.

Moscow has deployed more than 1300 attack drones, almost 900 guided bombs, and up to 50 rockets and cruise missiles since then. Zelensky wants to ensure that such invasions cannot be repeated in the future.

Kyiv is ready to guarantee the stability of Slovakia's energy supply. During the press conference, Zelensky made it clear that the attacks will not deter Ukraine from standing up to Russia's aggression. The statements were made on a Friday.
