Woman Arrested for Drunk Driving, License Plate Fraud, and Other Violations in Kassel-Wesertor
A 45-year-old woman found herself in hot water after a late-night incident in Kassel-Wesertor. The woman, who does not have a fixed address, was driving a VW Polo with stolen license plates from the Schwalm-Eder district.
The police were alerted to the woman's erratic driving and the traffic violation she committed at around 2:45 AM when she ran a red light at the intersection on Ysenburgstraße. Upon noticing her, the officers pursued the VW Polo.
During the pursuit and subsequent inspection, the woman refused to take a breathalyzer test. However, her erratic driving behavior, swerving, and unusual actions suggested that she may have been under the influence of both alcohol and drugs.
The police seized the stolen license plates during the inspection and discovered that the VW Polo was not properly registered or insured due to the stolen plates. The woman was also found to be driving without a valid driver's license.
