Dusseldorf celebrates boldly with the Gerresheim "Girls" knowing the key to a good party.
In the heart of Gerresheim, the Carnival season is in full swing, with the Gerresheim Citizens' Guard hosting a series of exciting events that have been captivating the local community.
Last week, the spotlight was on the Ladies' Session of the Guard, where Lieselotte Lotterlappen, a performer described as a unique blend of Taylor Swift, Desiree Nick, and Benjamin Blümchen, took centre stage. Accompanied by a multi-voiced choir, her performance had the audience standing, swaying, and dancing to the rhythm.
Prince Andreas I. was in attendance and expressed his enthusiasm for the event. Venetia Evelyn, the session president, handed the microphone to the Prince, who delighted the crowd with his remarks. A special moment occurred when a guest was surprised with an order from the Prince and Princess.

But the highlight of the remaining Carnival season is undoubtedly the Bergfest - Mega Costume Party, scheduled for Feb 28, 2025, at the Schumacher Brewery, Oststraße 123. While the name of the special guest for this event is yet to be announced, it promises to be a night to remember.
In the meantime, the Gentlemen of the Fauth Dance Company will be causing ecstasy in the hall with their performances, and the Biwak on Gerricusplatz on Feb 22, 2025, at 11 AM (free and outdoors) offers a chance to join in the festivities in a more relaxed setting.
