Düsseldorf: Guiding Structural Work in Wagon Manufacturing and Female Reinforcement along the Railway Track

The city of Düsseldorf is buzzing with excitement as the annual Carnival celebrations get underway. The topping-out ceremony, a significant event marking the start of the preparations for Rosenmontag, took place on the 22nd of February, a day earlier than originally planned.

City Dean Frank Heidkamp, known for his ability to bring joy and laughter even in uncertain times, blessed all the Carnival floats and emphasised the importance of maintaining a sense of fun and merriment throughout the festivities.

President Lothar Höhring of the CC, the organisers of the Carnival, made humorous comments about the changes that float builders had to make following the TÜV inspection. His light-hearted remarks were met with laughter and applause from the representatives of the clubs, sponsors, guests of the Uzbrothers, and Biker4Kids who attended the ceremony.

The event was a joint celebration between the CC and the Uzbrothers, with the Schlossturm guard performing their show dance and the Narrous Triumvirate putting on a captivating performance. The traditional pea soup from Dauser and music added to the festive atmosphere, making it a memorable occasion for all.

Jenny Krieger, who joined the event group this year as the first woman, is being prepared over three years to succeed Dieter Müller. Her inclusion in the procession leadership marks a significant step towards greater diversity and inclusivity in the Carnival celebrations.

The theme floats created by Jacques Tilly's team will represent the current federal election results. With the elections just around the corner, the floats are sure to be a hot topic of discussion and a source of intrigue for the people of Düsseldorf and the world. Jacques Tilly and his team will be working tirelessly from Sunday evening onwards to ensure that the floats are ready for the big day on Rosenmontag (3.3.).

The procession leadership has formed traditional bonds with Biker4Kids, hinting at future collaborations. These collaborations promise to bring even more excitement and innovation to the Carnival celebrations.

As the preparations for Rosenmontag continue, the people of Düsseldorf can look forward to a colourful and diverse display of floats, music, and performances. With Jenny Krieger being built up as Dieter Müller's successor in the float-building hall in three years, it seems that the future of Düsseldorf's Carnival is in safe hands.

The topping-out ceremony was preceded by a welcoming speech from the head of the procession, Michael Faustmann. He spoke a short prayer for great weather on Rosenmontag, community, and peaceful Carnival days. The Prince's pair, Andreas I and Venetia Evelyn, distributed the Prince's pair order to everyone from the procession leadership, adding a touch of royal elegance to the occasion.

As the celebrations continue, the people of Düsseldorf and the world can expect to be surprised and delighted by the theme floats on Rosenmontag. With the Carnival in full swing, the city is set to come alive with laughter, music, and the spirit of Carnival.
