Dusseldorf Needs Extra Election Aides, 23rd February Remains the Target Date
The city of Düsseldorf is seeking volunteers to join the team of election helpers for the upcoming 21st German Bundestag election on February 23, 2025. Approximately 4,300 election helpers are needed in total to ensure a smooth and efficient voting process.
Election helpers play a crucial role in the election process. They are responsible for verifying the eligibility of voters, marking them in the voter registry, distributing ballots, and counting votes. Each polling station has its own electoral board, consisting of five to eight members.

More election helpers, particularly for the positions of leadership and record-keeping, are still needed. All eligible voters, i.e., all Germans aged 18 and above, can apply for this task.
