In the Nordend district of Frankfurt am Main, a 59-year-old man was the victim of an attempted robbery on March 24 at 22:15. The incident occurred on "Eiserne Hand" street.
The two suspects, described as male individuals aged between 16 and 20 years old, approached the victim from behind. One of the suspects pushed the victim against a wall, attempting to take his wallet. The victim resisted, leading to a physical altercation that resulted in the victim falling to the ground.
The suspects, who are approximately 180 cm tall and have an athletic build, were wearing dark clothing during the crime. A resident from a nearby apartment building shouted at the suspects, causing them to flee towards Eckenheimer Landstraße and Eschenheimer Anlage.
Despite immediate police search measures, the suspects managed to escape. The victim sustained minor injuries and is currently recovering.
