Dutch Modular Fest Welcomes Back Bjooks, Featuring PATCH & TWEAK Club
On Saturday, September 6, 2025, music enthusiasts and electronic sound aficionados will gather at WORM, Rotterdam, Netherlands, for the Dutch Modular Fest. This event, running from 12:30-22:00, offers a unique opportunity to meet passionate creators, explore unique gear, get hands-on demos, and dive into expert tips.
The festival will feature a diverse lineup of artists, including Julian Edwardes, Skander Jaïbi & Ines Kooli, Chebedahja, Maj Rachel, Cinematic Laboratory, and Animistic Beliefs.
One of the highlights of the event is the Makers Market, where approximately 30 maker booths will be showcased in WORM's theatre space, UBIK. Visitors can expect to find a variety of innovative electronic gear and creations.
For those interested in DIY projects, WORM's Pirate Bay space will host DIY solder workshops. Attendees can learn to build gear with guidance from experts, and no prior experience is necessary. The DIY Workshops will be led by the publisher of Bjooks, whose books like PATCH & TWEAK, The Minimoog Book, and Synth Gems 1 are well-known in the community.
In addition to the workshops, festival-goers will have the chance to meet and get signed editions from special guest and Bjooks founder, Kim Bjørn. Kim Bjørn will be on site for meet & greets and personal book signings, providing an opportunity to collect signed editions from him in an inspiring, creative atmosphere.
Moreover, Rikkert Achtereekte, founder of Voltmeister, will lead a three-part masterclass on The History of Electronic Sound. This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to delve deeper into the history and evolution of electronic music.
