The Outstanding Cebuano Awards (Toca) 2025 Honours Eleven Distinguished Cebuanos

The Outstanding Cebuano Awards (Toca) 2025, now in its 26th year, celebrated eleven exceptional Cebuanos who have made significant contributions in their fields and to nation-building. The awards ceremony was held on Saturday, Aug. 16, at Cebu Business Hotel on Colon St., during the 44th anniversary celebration of dyCM's Tingog Sa Lungsod.

The recipients of this year's awards were:

  • Regan M. Metante, recognised for her exceptional work in cooperative management.
  • Alfredo J. Sipalay, honoured for his outstanding achievements in the field of law.
  • Alexis May M. Dy, celebrated for her contributions to engineering and public service.
  • Samson O. Costanilla, acclaimed for his achievements in entertainment and Cebuano filmmaking.
  • Noah P. Caoile, lauded for his work in architecture.
  • Susan O. Aroa, recognised for her achievements in civil engineering and public service.
  • Eddie L. Mahilum, honoured for his contributions in the field of health and wellness.
  • Michael Jeffrey N. Go, celebrated for his success in entrepreneurship.
  • Eric C. Cabarrubias, recognised for his achievements in engineering and power and energy.
  • Marlo C. de la Peña, honoured for her contributions in engineering and business enterprise.
  • Erwin S. Solis, acclaimed for his achievements in contracting.

Nominees for the Outstanding Cebuano Awards (Toca) 2025 must be Cebuanos either by birth, blood, or marriage, must personally attend the awarding ceremony, and must demonstrate a high level of performance in their area of expertise. The United Cebu Movement organised this year's awards.

The Outstanding Cebuano Awards (Toca) is a prestigious event that recognises the achievements and contributions of Cebuanos to their communities, the region, and the nation. The recipients of this year's awards have shown exceptional dedication and commitment to their fields and have made a lasting impact on Cebu and the Philippines.
