Enforced Shutdown on Wildensorger Street

On Friday, September 5, 2025, a section of Wildensorger Straße will be closed to motor vehicle traffic due to a necessary crane operation. The closure will commence at 5 PM and will end at 6 AM on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

The affected section of the street lies between Rothofleite and "Am Bundleshof". However, pedestrians will not be affected by the closure.

For motorists, a detour via St.-Getreu-Straße to Rothofleite is available from 5 PM on September 5, 2025. Conversely, a detour from St.-Getreu-Straße to Rothofleite will be possible from 6 AM on September 6, 2025. Detours via Rothofleite to St.-Getreu-Straße and vice versa will be available during the crane operation.

The crane operation is an essential part of the ongoing construction project on Wildensorger Straße. It is expected to cause delays in traffic on the detour routes. Pedestrians are advised to allow extra time for their journeys during this period.

It is worth noting that the closure of Wildensorger Straße for this crane operation will not affect the schedule of the previously announced closure, which will take place from September 16, 2025, to September 20, 2025. During this period, the street section between Rothofleite and "Am Bundleshof" will again be closed to motor vehicle traffic.

Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and to follow the signs for detours during the crane operation and the subsequent closure. For more information, please visit the official website of the city's transportation department.
