Engaging conversations and networking opportunities for women -woman-centered stroll-and-talk events
Lünen, Germany, is set to host a series of monthly "Walk & Talk" events, aimed at fostering encounters and strengthening community. The initiative, organised by the Equal Opportunities and Women's Office of the city of Lünen and the Volkshochschule, will commence on Sunday, September 14th.
The first gathering will start at 3 pm on the market square in front of the town hall. Subsequent meetings will take place on the second Sunday of every month, with the start time remaining consistent at 3 pm. The meetings will occur at various locations within Lünen, including the car park of the REWE market in Horstmar (Baukelweg), the car park at the LünTec building (Am Brambusch), and the car park at the Cappenberger See (Wehrenboldstraße).
These walks will be at a leisurely pace to accommodate all participants, lasting approximately one hour. The focus of the events is on shared exchange, making new contacts, and spending time outdoors in a relaxed atmosphere.

In an exciting twist, the first "Walk & Talk" hike on September 14, 2025, will not be limited to Lünen. The event will begin in the city of Weiden, Bavaria, with participants meeting at Türlgasse 16 in Weiden.
