Enhance your decision-making process with advanced statistical modeling strategies
A three-part workshop titled "Statistical Modelling Techniques" is being offered by JMP, designed specifically for scientists and engineers who wish to maximise their data's potential. This workshop series, led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Sandra Klinge, aims to make statistical modelling techniques as accessible as possible.
The workshop is free to sign up for and participants will learn the grounding principles of statistical modelling. To prepare, a free trial of JMP's software is required for the exercises and lasts for 30 days. The trial software can be downloaded from JMP's website two weeks prior to the start of the programme.
Day 1 of the workshop focuses on deriving insights from data, teaching best practices and workflows for statistical modelling.
Day 2 is the second part of the workshop and delves into exploring data and optimising processes. A case study from the manufacturing industry is used to learn process optimisation. The session includes multivariate analysis, identifying significant factors, and hands-on exercises. Stuart Little, a systems engineer at JMP with a Phd in chemistry from the University of Sheffield, UK, will be involved in this day's activities.
Day 3 is the final day of the workshop and concentrates on visually exploring data, predictive modelling, and resources for continued learning. Day 3's hands-on exercise requires the JMP journal file, similar to Day 2. Hadley Myers, a JMP senior systems engineer with 15 years of combined research and manufacturing experience and the author of 30 technical publications, will also be involved in this day's activities.
Throughout the workshop, participants will learn how to combine the right tools for the best output in statistical modelling. They will also gain valuable insights and learn a variety of techniques they can adapt to their own work. The workshops provide support from JMP experts during the sessions.
On the final day, Day 3, the focus is on identifying key variables and optimising performance. The workshop series concludes by emphasising resources for continued learning.
Sign up now for this valuable opportunity to enhance your data analysis skills and take your work to the next level.
