Enhanced collaborative efforts among agencies to safeguard Kamchatka's young population fortified

In Kamchatka Krai, a roundtable discussion was held at the Kamchatka Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children, "Семья" (Family), to address pressing issues surrounding the prevention of social orphanhood and crimes against minors within families.

The event, attended by representatives of kindergartens in Kamchatka Krai, guardianship and guardianship authorities, and social service specialists, was aimed at enhancing collaboration between various organisations, including guardianship and guardianship authorities, police, medical, and educational institutions.

Maria Alekseevna Sokolova, the head of the "Semja" center in Kamchatka Krai, led the discussion. Eleonora Ankudinova, Head of the Department of Guardianship and Guardianship of the Ministry of Social Welfare and Family Policy of Kamchatka Krai, discussed a comprehensive approach to preventing social orphanhood and protecting children from violence.

Olga Denisyuk, Director of the Center "Семья" (Family), spoke about the work of the stationary department for minors, while emphasizing the importance of rehabilitation and social adaptation of the department's wards. Specialists were also updated on the protocol for action when cases of violence against minors are discovered.

Measures to strengthen inter-agency cooperation among entities preventing violations of the rights and interests of minors are ongoing in Kamchatka Krai. A series of events aimed at furthering this collaboration is planned in the region.

The main task of the department for minors at the Center "Семья" (Family) is to provide comprehensive assistance to children in difficult life situations, including psychological, social, and pedagogical support. The roundtable discussion focused on working with families in difficult life situations and promptly identifying and preventing cases of child abuse.

This roundtable discussion marks a significant step in Kamchatka Krai's ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of its young citizens.
