The roadworks, scheduled for February 2023, will not affect the safety and convenience of pedestrians and cyclists crossing the busy federal highway at the intersection of B455/New-York Street. In fact, a new traffic light has already been operational at this intersection, ensuring the safe and convenient crossing of the highway for all users.
The utility line renewal in Beerstadt is expected to affect New York Street. As a result, the street will be fully closed in sections from February 6, 2023. It is important to note that the connection between Beerstadt and the main employment hubs east of the main station, which is crucial for commuters, will not be affected by these roadworks.
