Equipment Unveiled: Inventory of Bag Carried by DP World Tour Pro, Marco Penge

In the world of professional golf, every detail matters. British golfer Marco Penge, currently ranked comfortably within the top 10 on the DP World Tour for hitting greens in regulation, has a unique touch that sets him apart.

Penge's wedges are a testament to his personal connections. His gap wedge is stamped with his wife Sophie's name, his sand wedge has his dog Otis' name, and his lob wedge is stamped with the name of his son, Enzo. This personal touch seems to bring him good luck, as he has won two DP World Tour titles – the Hainan Championship and the Danish Golf Championship in 2025.

Penge's equipment is carefully selected to suit his style. His driver of choice is the Mizuno ST-X 230, with 9.5° of loft and a Fujikura Ventus TR Black 7-X shaft. The hot melt in the low center of the head provides the perfect balance for his powerful swings. For his mini driver, Penge uses a TaylorMade BRNR Copper, also fitted with a Fujikura Ventus TR Black 8-X shaft.

Penge's irons are Mizuno Pro S3s, from 4-PW, fitted with KBS V10 130X shafts. Interestingly, Penge's Pro S3 irons have been made two-degrees stronger to address his issue of high spin due to his fast swing speed. This modification has proven effective, as Penge's iron play has been a key factor in his success.

Penge's putter is the Scotty Cameron Phantom 5.2 (Tour Proto), which he finds works well with the alignment line on his ball. This precision instrument, combined with his average of 1.73 putts per green in regulation, makes him one of the best putters on the DP World Tour.

Each of Penge's wedges are fitted with different shafts: KBS V10 130X in his 50°, Project X 7.0 Wedge shaft in his 56° sand wedge, and a standard Project X 7.0 in his 60° lob wedge. These wedges are the Titleist Vokey SM10s, one of the best golf wedges on the market.

Penge is a Mizuno staff player and uses Mizuno equipment wherever possible. The name of the shovel and iron set he used in his victory at the Danish Golf Championship 2025 has not been explicitly mentioned, but the Cobra Baffler irons and hybrids 2025, notable new clubs released that year and designed for ease of use with various head designs, could potentially match his equipment type.

Penge wraps up his clubs with the Golf Pride Tour Velvet 58R grip with two layers of tape for added comfort. With this well-rounded equipment setup and his natural talent, Penge continues to shine on the DP World Tour.
