European Council endorses Commission's blueprint for creating a European Suicide Prevention Hub

In an effort to break the silence surrounding suicide and promote mental health, the city of Wiesbaden is participating in the nationwide action day for World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10th. This year, the city is collaborating with the 'gemeinsam zusammen' association to raise awareness about suicide prevention.

The topic of suicide remains a taboo in many societies, but education about suicide can save lives and lower the barrier to seeking help. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), suicide prevention should be understood as a societal task.

On September 10th, Wiesbaden held an event to raise awareness about suicide prevention on World Suicide Prevention Day.
