European Union Initiates Trial Run for Leader Programme
The Local Action Group (LAG) LEADER District of Fürth e.V. (LAG) is inviting project ideas for LEADER funding until 27.10.2025. This programme offers an exciting opportunity to transform innovative ideas into reality, aiming to improve the quality of life in the district of Fürth.

The LAG has made 1.7 million euros available for funding until 2027. Projects eligible for funding have a budget between 7,000 and 250,000 euros. The funding rate for projects oriented towards the common good is 50%, while profit-oriented projects (e.g. businesses) receive a funding rate of 30%.
The website https://leader.ourwebsite provides detailed information on the application process and project description. Project descriptions are required for submission. Upon a positive decision, applicants can submit the funding application online to the Office for Food, Agriculture and Forestry.
Upon receiving the approval notice, the start of the project work is possible. As of now, two projects have already been decided by the LAG, leaving approximately 700,000 euros for new applications.
District Administrator Bernd Obst encourages everyone to submit creative suggestions. The LAG steering committee will evaluate applications on 26.11.2025. The submission deadline for project proposals is 27.10.2025. Project proposals can be submitted on the website https://leader.ourwebsite.
